Supporting the evolution of professional practices in the early childhood sector
This practice is based on the work carried out by the School of Biodynamic Psychology.
With a view to encouraging a new approach based on caring education, the Director of a day nursery wanted to unite her 15 employees (from all professions and hierarchical levels) around participative workshops to better understand the issues associated with child development.
Full-presence practices enabled them to transform their vision of their profession, and to develop interpersonal skills and know-how better adapted to the needs of the children in their care, aged between 3 months and 3 years.

By adopting a new professional and pedagogical frame of reference, educational methods naturally evolved towards a more intuitive situational intelligence. Indeed, the fact of having experienced a difference in contact, touch and listening between adults enabled us to put it into practice with children.
By domino effect, all interactions, whether horizontal or vertical (between colleagues, with children and their families) have gained in quality of listening, solidarity, fluidity and trust. This in-depth work, carried out over the past 5 years with teams that nevertheless experience a high turnover, contributes to reinforcing the establishment's founding values and commitments.
